FABRIC INFORMATION
Natural woven raffia cloth on the outside of the shade. The interior is lined with "Caribbean" Suzanne Bonser exclusively for Altizer & Co. Printed in England cotton fabric. The front and back panels have a palm tree with a coral flower at the bottom, and the two side panels are floral jungle vines with a beige flower. The base color on this fabric is chocolate brown.
TRIM INFORMATION
Top and bottom wiring is wrapped with Tandoori Spice Petersham cotton rayon grosgrain ribbon. Vertical ribs are finished with the shade base raffia, cut on the bias. Final top and bottom trim is a perfectly matching green heavy cotton handmade trim topped with a jute braid.
USES
This shade would readily fit a medium sized table lamp with a harp fitting.

This shade lights up beautifully. Please scroll through pictures to see how it looks when lit. The natural weave has organic blemishes which are part of the charm of this textile. All hidden wiring is coated with enamel to ensure longevity.

Is the shipping cost less for a multiple lamp shade order?
Yes, if you have a multiple lamp shade order and I can fit them one inside the other in one box there will be a refund of shipping costs the day your shades ship. If you would like an accurate shipping quote for more than one lamp shade, please contact me with your zip or postal code.
Sizing details
I am happy to help you size a lamp shade or finial. Please contact me directly and I will more than happy to assist you. A picture and lamp measurements are very helpful.
Care instructions
Lint rollers work great on fabric lamp shades.
For wire mesh shades a lint free cloth and canned air will give you optimal cleaning results.
On small lamp shades it is best to use a lower wattage light bulb to avoid scorching the polystyrene lining. For the highest wattage a purchased shade can handle, please contact me.
I use mineral oil to polish lamp finials.
