SCREEN INFORMATION
The shade is made with bronze screening material which will never rust or corrode, but it will age into a warm tony bronze color.
TRIM INFORMATION
Top and bottom wiring is wrapped with brown cotton rayon grosgrain ribbon. The bronze screen section of the shade is finished with a wood trim that has been coated with oil rubbed bronze paint. There is an off white linen removable diffuser included with this shade. It is easy to install and remove, but it must be done gently!
USES
This shade would readily fit a medium table with a harp and finial. It could also be used as a small pendant lampshade.
COMMENTS
The listing is for a bronze screen lamp shade and off white Warsa linen removable diffuser. Two shades in one! I have yet to see another shade like this. Fantastic, and versatile. I just love the way an Edison bulb shines through this shade, with or without the diffuser. A vintage looking shade, with a modern kick. I see this type of shade in a restaurant, a contemporary home, and/or in a bigger size surrounding a chandelier. Is the shipping cost less for a multiple lamp shade order?
Yes, if you have a multiple lamp shade order and I can fit them one inside the other in one box there will be a refund of shipping costs the day your shades ship. If you would like an accurate shipping quote for more than one lamp shade, please contact me with your zip or postal code.
Sizing details
I am happy to help you size a lamp shade or finial. Please contact me directly and I will more than happy to assist you. A picture and lamp measurements are very helpful.
Care instructions
Lint rollers work great on fabric lamp shades.
For wire mesh shades a lint free cloth and canned air will give you optimal cleaning results.
On small lamp shades it is best to use a lower wattage light bulb to avoid scorching the polystyrene lining. For the highest wattage a purchased shade can handle, please contact me.
I use mineral oil to polish lamp finials.
