FITTING AND FINISH
Phenolic socket, one inch recess. The socket opening is 1 and 5/8 inches diameter. Flat black enamel finish.

SCREEN INFORMATION
The shade is made with black stainless steel wire mesh material which will never rust or corrode. It is a delicate, fine gauge wire.
TRIM INFORMATION
Top and bottom wiring is wrapped with black cotton rayon grosgrain ribbon. The screen section of the shade is finished with .75 inch black enameled steel strapping. There are two rivets at each seam.
USES
This shade would readily fit a medium table or floor lamp with a phenolic socket. It could also be used as a pendant lampshade.
COMMENTS
The pictures with the bulb in this listing are with a smaller sized shade. The other pictures are of the shade you will receive with your purchase. I have yet to see another shade like this. Fantastic, and versatile. Great for industrial decor. I see this type of shade in a restaurant, a contemporary home, and/or in a bigger size surrounding a chandelier. Is the shipping cost less for a multiple lamp shade order?
Yes, if you have a multiple lamp shade order and I can fit them one inside the other in one box there will be a refund of shipping costs the day your shades ship. If you would like an accurate shipping quote for more than one lamp shade, please contact me with your zip or postal code.
Sizing details
I am happy to help you size a lamp shade or finial. Please contact me directly and I will more than happy to assist you. A picture and lamp measurements are very helpful.
Care instructions
Lint rollers work great on fabric lamp shades.
For wire mesh shades a lint free cloth and canned air will give you optimal cleaning results.
On small lamp shades it is best to use a lower wattage light bulb to avoid scorching the polystyrene lining. For the highest wattage a purchased shade can handle, please contact me.
I use mineral oil to polish lamp finials.
