There is great variance in these organically shaped sea glass rocks, and they can be mounted to be tall or wide in some cases. Contact me to send photos of current stock.
USES
This finial would readily fit a small or medium table or floor lamp with a standard harp.
COMMENTS
A great lamp finial for coastal decor, and could be used on a wide variety of lamps due to the clear color. Please see other sections in my shop for a large selection of handmade lamp shades, finials, and lamps with custom shades. This little trinket would suit many of my hand made shade creations.

SIZING A LAMPSHADE
As a general rule of thumb, know that the lampshade should never overpower the lamp. The height of the shade should be roughly two inches shorter than the lamp base. As to the diameter, it can be up to 2 to 3 times wider than the widest part of the lamp. Another consideration is how much space do you have around the lampshade?
When requesting a custom order, please let me know top x bottom x height. The height of the shade should be measured straight up, not on the slant. I will also need to know the fitting type and finish. Is it a clip top, a washer top, an uno frame? Would you like it to be flush with the top wire, or recessed? Finally, brass, nickel, or painted? Thanks!

Is the shipping cost less for a multiple lamp shade order?
Yes, if you have a multiple lamp shade order and I can fit them one inside the other in one box there will be a refund of shipping costs the day your shades ship. If you would like an accurate shipping quote for more than one lamp shade, please contact me with your zip or postal code.
Sizing details
I am happy to help you size a lamp shade or finial. Please contact me directly and I will more than happy to assist you. A picture and lamp measurements are very helpful.
Care instructions
Lint rollers work great on fabric lamp shades.
For wire mesh shades a lint free cloth and canned air will give you optimal cleaning results.
On small lamp shades it is best to use a lower wattage light bulb to avoid scorching the polystyrene lining. For the highest wattage a purchased shade can handle, please contact me.
I use mineral oil to polish lamp finials.
